What InvoiceKit does with your data

InvoiceKit runs entirely in your browser. The invoice details you type (names, addresses, emails, tax IDs, line items, notes) are processed on your device to build the preview and the PDF. They are not sent to us or to anyone else, because this site has no server that receives them and the page's content security policy blocks the page's own scripts from sending data to other servers (it does not stop you from following a link to another site).

What is stored on your device

If your browser allows it, InvoiceKit keeps your invoice history and sender details in this browser's localStorage so you can reuse them. This data stays on your device. You can remove it at any time with the "Clear all data" button or by clearing site data in your browser. Files you export (JSON) or download (PDF) are saved by your browser to your own device; you are responsible for them.

Shared computers

Saved invoices and sender details are stored unencrypted in this browser. Anyone who can use this browser profile on your device, or other pages on the same site address, may be able to read them. On a shared or public computer, use "Clear all data" before you leave, or do not save data there.

Accounts, cookies, tracking

There are no accounts. InvoiceKit sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, analytics or trackers.

Hosting

Whoever hosts this site (the web host) may keep ordinary server logs such as IP address and requested page, as web servers usually do. InvoiceKit does not control or read those logs. Host: GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Visitors from the EU/UK should know the host may process IP addresses outside their region.

Your responsibilities

Invoices can contain other people's personal data. If you enter it, you are responsible for handling it lawfully (for example under GDPR or CCPA).

Contact

Operator: Northbeam Tools (brand name). Contact: open an issue at the project's GitHub Issues page; please do not post personal or invoice data there.

Because the operator receives none of the data you type, there is nothing for the operator to access, correct or delete on your behalf; you control it through the "Clear all data" button and your browser settings. Local storage is used only to provide the saved-history feature you ask for; there is no tracking, so no consent banner is used (to be confirmed by counsel).
